We believe you should never have to wonder whether a piece will work in your home. That is why every eligible purchase from Caravana Furniture includes a 7-day trial period. Live with it. See how it feels in your space. If it is not the right fit, we will make it right.

Not quite right? Contact us and we will arrange a hassle-free exchange or return. No judgment, no pressure.

Exchanges

If you would prefer a different piece, we will pick up the original and deliver your new selection — often in a single trip. A service fee applies to cover the logistics of pickup and re-delivery.

First exchange benefit: Your first exchange includes a discounted service fee. We would rather help you find the right piece than process a return. No restocking fee applies on any exchange.

Returns

Sometimes a piece simply does not suit your space, and we understand. We will arrange a professional pickup and process your refund. A 15% restocking fee and a service fee based on item size apply.

Refunds on your terms: Choose a refund to your original payment method or store credit — whichever you prefer. Financed purchases are refunded directly to your financing account. All refunds are processed within 7 to 10 business days.

Sets and Multi-Piece Orders

For sets purchased together, service fees are charged per piece but capped at two times the large item fee to keep costs reasonable.

Picked Up From Our Showroom?

If you picked up your furniture from our Long Beach location rather than having it delivered, the same 7-day trial applies with one difference:

  • No service fee — you handle the return transportation
  • The 15% restocking fee still applies on returns, not on exchanges
  • Return items to 975 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90813 during business hours

Beyond Our Standard Delivery Area

Customers outside our complimentary 20-mile delivery zone are still eligible for the 7-Day Home Comfort Trial. An additional service fee surcharge may apply depending on distance. Contact us for a personalized quote.

Condition Requirements

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be in original, like-new condition:

  • No stains, spills, or watermarks
  • No scratches, dents, tears, or structural damage
  • No pet hair, odors, or smoke exposure
  • All parts, hardware, and accessories included
  • Fully assembled, as delivered

Our delivery inspection: When our team delivers your furniture, we perform a detailed condition check with you before we leave. This confirms everything arrived in perfect shape and creates a baseline record. We ask that you take a moment to inspect alongside us and sign the delivery confirmation.

Exclusions

The following items are not eligible for the 7-Day Home Comfort Trial:

  • Clearance and final sale items
  • Custom-made and made-to-order furniture
  • Mattresses
  • Items damaged by the customer after delivery
  • Items not purchased directly from Caravana Furniture
  • Items missing parts, hardware, or accessories

Order Cancellations

  • Within 24 hours of placing your order: Full refund, no fees
  • After 24 hours, before delivery: A 15% restocking fee applies
  • After delivery: Covered by the 7-Day Home Comfort Trial above

Frequently Asked Questions

When does my 7-day trial begin?
Your trial begins on the day your furniture is delivered, or the day you pick it up from our showroom. You have seven calendar days from that date to request an exchange or return.
How do I initiate a return or exchange?
Call us at (562) 432-0562 or email sales@caravanafurniture.com within your 7-day window. We will walk you through the process, confirm your fees, and schedule a pickup date.
Can I exchange more than once?
Yes. Your first exchange includes a discounted service fee. Additional exchanges are subject to standard service fees. The original 7-day trial window does not restart after an exchange.
What if I financed my purchase?
Financed purchases are fully eligible. Refunds are processed back to your financing account under the same terms and timeline.
Why is there a service fee?
The service fee covers the cost of dispatching our professional team with a truck to carefully pick up and transport your furniture. Unlike many larger retailers who charge between $300 and $600 for delivery alone, your original delivery and in-home assembly were complimentary. Our fees are designed to cover actual logistics costs — nothing more.
What if my furniture arrived damaged?
Damage during delivery is not subject to the trial policy — it falls under our delivery guarantee. Contact us immediately at (562) 432-0562 and we will replace the item at no cost.
Can I see furniture in person before purchasing?
We encourage it. Visit our showroom at 975 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90813 to experience our collection firsthand. There is no substitute for seeing the materials, feeling the comfort, and judging the scale in person.
